The Breakfast 

Il venerdì è il giorno della settimana che attendiamo con più entusiasmo e sicuramente non siamo le sole. Siamo già alle porte di un nuovo weekend e quale modo migliore di iniziare se non raccontandovi della nostra colazione speciale dello scorso sabato? Ci siamo unite per la seconda volta a Le Colazioniste (vi abbiamo già raccontato di questo progetto in un precedente post). Un gruppo di ragazze amanti delle colazioni belle e gustose sempre alla ricerca di posti nuovi in cui ritrovarsi per condividere questo momento della giornata.
Sabato siamo state ospiti di Ginger Sapori e Salute, in una splendida mattina romana di sole.
Ginger per noi non è una novità, conosciamo e frequentiamo questo ristorante da anni, abbiamo perso il conto delle volte in cui ci siamo ritrovate lì per pranzi o snack veloci con amici o durante una pausa shopping. Questa volta però la novità è stata visitare la loro nuova location in Piazza Sant’Eustachio più riparata e tranquilla. Altra novità è stata assaggiare le loro nuove e ricche proposte per la colazione naturalmente. Dalle classiche opzioni dolci i croissant, ai golosissimi pancake di farina biologica, alle opzioni salate finendo con tanta frutta. La filosofia di Ginger è una cucina sostenibile e salutare ma che non rinuncia al gusto, rispettosa dell’alternanza stagionale e con tante opzioni vegan. Abbiamo notato con piacere la presenza nel menu dell’açai bowl che volevamo assaggiare da tempo ma non è facilissima da trovare. Come potrete immaginare o come avrete visto su Instagram la colazione è stata accompagnata da tantissime foto e girl chats che si sono protratte fino all’ora di pranzo!

Hello Friday! Probably the day of the week we get the more excited for and we are sure we are not the only ones. A new weekend is about to start and what better time to tell you something more of last Saturday breakfast.It has been a special breakfast since we met for the second time with Le Colazioniste, a project we already talked you about in a previous post some months ago. It is a little group of girls who love breakfast and are constantly on a strive to find the most delicious and estethcally pleasing one.Last Saturday we’ve been hosted by Ginger Sapori e Salute, in a typical roman sunny day. Ginger is not a new discovery for us neither a recent one, we’ve known this restaurant for years and we’ve lost count of the times we hung out there for lunch, with friends, for quick snack during shopping. This time however we had the chance to get to know their new location in Piazza Sant’Eustachio which is a little more hidden and so less crowded. Since it is breakfast we’re talking about no need to add that we naturally tried out their new breakfast additions to the menu. A lot of different choices, from the most classic sweet option croissant and yummy organic pancakes to savory options ending with a lot of tropical fruits. Ginger’s philosophy is to offer a sustainable and organic cuisine without giving up on flavor, respecting seasonal products and with different vegan options as well. We was pleased to note that they also prepare the açai bowl! We haven’t managed to try it before because it is not easy to find. How you can immagine or how you may have seen on instagram, breakfast was filled with loads of photos and girls chats that lasted till lunch time.

The Outfit

Prima di salutarci un accenno all’outfit che ho indossato, l’ho adorato per il semplice fatto che mi ha fatta sentire completamente me stessa e a mio agio. In realtà avevo acquistato il vestito a pois per indossarlo con un ampio maglione pastello, lo vedrete prossimamente, ma viviamo a Roma che ci sta regalando delle giornate per nulla autunnali. Così per adattarlo alle temperature ancora miti ho deciso di abbinarlo alla giacca di pelle e ai miei adorati stivaletti borchiati per aggiungere un tocco edgy che fa da contrasto alla stampa romantica e delicata, ultimi degli occhiali ovali dallo stile retrò in uno splendido colore pastello.

Before virtually waving goodbye just few words on the outfit I wore because I’ve loved it. The reason is simple I felt completely myself and confident. Actually I bought this polka-dots wrap dress with the idea of wearing it with a slouchy pastel sweater on top, you’ll see the look soon, but these few weeks in Rome feels like spring rather than autumn. To make it weather appropriate I pair it with a leather jacket and my beloved studded boots for a bit of contrast to this romantic print and an edgy touch and last but not the least retro oval sunglasses.
